Tim Huebsch is a community dot connector.  He is involved in numerous organizations and is constantly looking to help individuals and organizations connect with each other.  His past experiences have varied widely from serving as Principal for the Day at Nellie Stone Johnson Elementary School, teaching personal finance at a university in California, to collectively raising over $500,000 for Twin Cities charities and participating in the FBI Citizen’s Academy.  These experiences have given Tim a great perspective and the opportunity to meet countless individuals who he has helped connect with each other.

Tim strongly believes in helping others figure out how to be involved and encouraging them to take that first step.  He annual chooses one thing to do that is completely unrelated to his regular job and those are the experiences that help make him the person he is within the community.  Tim’s regular job is an IS Department Manager for General Mills where he is responsible for the public internet platforms around website search, online communities and recipe systems. Tim is a past Humphrey Policy Fellow and Leadership Twin Cities Participant.  He received his MBA from Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and his undergraduate in Computer Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  Tim currently is the President of the Minnesota State University, Mankato Alumni Association which serves the 105,000 alumni of MSU.
